School is back in full swing and students have been using the digital portfolio tool, Seesaw, to collect work they are proud of, share their thinking with one another, and challenge themselves to grow their brains. In Ms. Hyatt’s third grade class, students used Seesaw to create a mind map. This strategy helps students visualize their thinking. The process of thinking about one’s thinking, or metacognition, helps learners understand how they learn best. Way to go, Ms. Hyatt’s class!
