Dismissal Reminders

If you need to change your child’s dismissal please call the front office by 3:30 PM. Do not text or email the teacher as they are teaching and may or may not see your message. The Front office number is 703-228-5838
Please remember that the school parking lot is closed to incoming and exiting cars every day from 3:30-4:05 to help reduce traffic and keep our students safe. If you plan to pick up your child before 3:30 p.m., please park on the street so you can leave safely.
If you are picking up your student and you drove, you need to park your car in a legal parking space and walk to door 11 (for kindergarten/first grade) or door 5 (2nd-5th grade) and pick them up. We have received numerous complaints from homeowners reporting that there are cars parked in front of their driveway at drop-off in the morning and dismissal in the afternoon. Cars have also parked in no parking areas near street corners obstructing views and making it unsafe for students crossing.
Please consider having your child use the bus if they are an eligible bus rider and think about walking if you are in the walk zone.
