Outdoor Recess

A reminder we have outdoor recess throughout the winter. Outdoor experiences for children are important for many reasons–more space, fresh air and exposure to sunlight. Students dressed in appropriate apparel and well hydrated should not have difficulty with outdoor activity during a recess period. We encourage you to send your child to school dressed for outdoor play. If the weather is extremely cold or the wind chill makes the “feel-like” temperature too cold, students will have indoor recess.
