A BIG SHOUT OUT to Mr. Walter Benitez and his family and their team of landscapers for generous donation of time and resources. Here’s a list of what was accomplished during our Spring Garden Project:

• Removal of old dirt and replacement of new soil in all raised beds
• Addition of dirt/filler to raise the ground level around the beds to prevent flooding/mud
• Building of a composter
• Building of a supply shed
• Planting of pansies and wildflowers in beds beside the cafeteria doors
• Painting of garden signs for around the school yard
• Painting of wooden spoons to be used as plant identification for flowers, veggies and herbs
