During the school year, statewide and district testing is scheduled for students. Information regarding the different tests and dates will be updated throughout the year. Beginning May 15, our third, fourth, and fifth graders will take their Standards Of Learning tests in various subjects. Check out the testing schedule and how you can support your child on testing days.
Did you know that walking, biking, scootering, busing and carpooling can be good for the environment? Most cars burn gasoline (refined oil) to make them move. This is a fossil fuel which comes from the earth. When it’s burned for energy, it causes air pollution. So, why not walk, bike, scooter, ride the bus or carpool when you can? That’s why our Environmental Club is promoting Walk to School Wednesday!
APS is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff and students throughout the entire school day. In accordance with CDC and VDH guidance, we will continue to protect student health and safety during meals. Every school will consistently implement the following health and safety measures during lunch.
