25 Year Old Time Capsule Opened!

The Barcroft community celebrated history recently with the reveal of a time capsule placed at the school in the year 2000. The Barcroft Student Council Association presented unique writings and artifacts, including student predictions about what might change by the year 2025—including that cars would talk to us and there would be a female president. Some came true, others are still to come! The Barcroft Time Capsule, which was buried on April 7, 2000, was opened exactly 25 years later on April 7, 2025. Inside, we found so many treasures—from student predictions about the future, to class pictures, the first Harry Potter book, and even Pokémon cards! It was a wonderful moment of connection between past and present Barcroft students.
