Instrumental Music

At Barcroft, each 4th and 5th grade student is able to participate in the instrumental music program-otherwise known as band and orchestra.  Students will have the opportunity to pick an instrument to learn and have a group lesson, one day per week for 30 minutes.

• Alto Saxophone
• Trombone
• Euphonium
• Percussion

Orchestra

• Violin
• Viola
• Cello
• String Bass

How to rent an instrument:

• We have many instruments available to rent from the county.
• The fees for instrument rental this school year are as follows:
  • $100
  • $50 for students on reduced lunch
  • $25 for students on free lunch

• Preference for school rentals goes to students on free/reduced lunch
• There are many local music stores that rent instruments
